I am Ryan, I own a digital marketing agency in the Portland Oregon area.
How it started
This business started in the most personal way possible — my wife is a licensed mental health counselor, and like many clinicians, she needed help building her private practice from the ground up.
She had the clinical skills and the heart for the work, but when it came to marketing and getting consistent private pay clients, it was overwhelming. So, I stepped in — built her a website, optimized it for Google, and created a strategy to help her get found by the clients she was most passionate about serving.
Soon, her colleagues started reaching out asking, “Who did your website?” or “Can your husband help me too?” That’s when I realized there was a serious need — not just for marketing help, but for someone who truly understands the unique challenges and goals of mental health professionals.
What started as a favor turned into a mission. Today, TherapistMarketing.com is a boutique marketing agency that specializes in helping therapists, counselors, and private practices grow — especially those looking to attract more private pay clients and rely less on insurance referrals.
